CPAA Saskatchewan Branch Hosts 102nd Annual Convention in Regina

The Canadian Postmasters and Assistants Association (CPAA) Saskatchewan Branch successfully hosted its 102nd Annual Convention on April 25 and 26, 2025, at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham in downtown Regina. The event brought together members from across the province for a weekend of connection, discussion, and professional development.
The convention kicked off Friday evening with registration and a hospitality social in Kookie’s Lounge. Attendees were invited to participate in a fun and interactive bingo game designed to encourage networking across the group. The game continued into Saturday, helping to set a tone of friendly engagement.
The day included formal introductions of the Saskatchewan Branch Board, former board member Leslie Schous, and special guest Judy Potter, National Vice-President of CPAA. Seven first-time attendees were recognized and welcomed with Co-op gift cards, reflecting the Branch’s commitment to encouraging new voices within the organization.

- Staffing
Recognition, Prizes, and Giving Back
The day was interspersed with prize draws and special recognitions:
- Multiple door prizes were awarded throughout the event.
- First-time attendees gathered for a group photo to be featured in the upcoming Branch newsletter.
- A bingo blackout draw celebrated successful social engagement.
- Raffle prizes raised $370, which was generously donated to STARS Air Ambulance.
A celebratory banquet was held in the evening, followed by entertainment at Yuk Yuk’s Standup Comedy Club at Fibber Magee’s Pub, rounding off the weekend with laughter and community.
